Ribbon Cut on 7th New Home in Youngstown Neighborhood - WKBN


Twenty years ago, the one-block-long Mineral Springs Avenue on Youngstown’s south side was lined with vacant, abandoned houses. Tuesday morning, the ribbon was cut for the seventh new home on the street in just over a year.

Leaders with the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation (YNDC) started working to change the area almost 20 years ago, working with nearby residents and businesses, as well as the Mahoning County Landbank.
