The YNDC is proud to announce the publishing of its fourth quarterly performance report of 2013!

"We have lived in the city on same street and same house for the past 47 years, enjoying being close to the university, museums, cultural activities and other amenities that an urban area offers.

We have also observed the changes. Most of the changes occurred with the transfer of housing to out-of-town buyers. Absentee owners may have had good initial intentions, but over time as the property remained vacant, vandals stripped the homes leaving an unsightly mess for the community.

YNDC continues making progress with new housing construction.

The City of Youngstown and YNDC are working together to advance neighborhood improvement projects across the city.

Perhaps nowhere in the Valley are the signs of residential growth more visible than in Youngstown.

A second-generation local builder works with nonprofit organizations to revitalize and build new homes in the Mahoning Valley region his family calls home. 

Joe Koch Jr. the vice president of Joe Koch Construction and a lifelong Austintown resident. 

Joe Koch Construction has built over 1,500 homes in the Valley since 1988 and is on track to complete 50 more this year, including four homes on the former Emerson Elementary site in Warren.
