Mahoning Valley TreeCorps Seeks Volunteers for Fall Planting - The Business Journal

Mahoning Valley TreeCorps is looking for volunteers to help plant more than 60 trees this fall. 

Volunteers are needed from 9-11 a.m. Oct. 16, 17, 22 and 23 to help with placing trees; digging to help expand an augered hole as needed; removing the burlap and cage around tree balls; and raking and shoveling sod and grass. 

Mahoning Valley TreeCorps is an initiative led by the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corp., Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, Youngstown CityScape, the Healthy Community Partnership and other community partners.
