On Thursday, December 12, 2024, the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation was awarded $1,500,000 in grants from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh’s Affordable Housing Program for affordable housing development.
On Monday, December 16 the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley awarded YNDC a $12,500 grant for neighborhood clean up, a targeted corridor and neighborhood stabilization program focused on cleaning up and transforming neighborhoods.
On November 21, 2024, the Mahoning County Land Bank, YNDC, other project partners, and supporters celebrated the groundbreaking of six new single family homes on Mineral Springs Avenue.
