People checking out the Idora Farmers Market in Youngstown on Tuesday night were able to see a part of the neighborhood’s history. 

A blood drive for the American Red Cross will be in front of the station, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, June, 16.

Training is underway in some cities in northeast Ohio as officials and firefighters prepare for the changes related to the state’s new law banning the use of plywood to board up some vacant and abandoned residential properties in foreclosure.

Over the past couple of years, the Valley has lost a lot of its grocery stores, leaving many people without a place to get food. But, farmers markets are a great way to increase food access to those here in the Valley and to fuel the local economy.
