Soil Research

The Ohio State University Research Garden – The Ohio State University is establishing a research garden to study the most effective methods for improving urban soil quality. Urban soil conditions are not typically conducive to planting given the history of development and unbuilding. This research project will test and analyze the most effective methods of restoring organic compounds in the soil. Identification of these methods will allow for the creation of more cost effective methods to continue spreading urban agricultural activities across the City of Youngstown
