Residents and Volunteers Continue Fight Against Blight at February Workday!

On Saturday, February 18, 2012, residents, Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church volunteers, YNDC staff, YSU students, and community volunteers participated in a workday at the Youngstown Playhouse, 2203 Glenwood Avenue. Participants cut and painted boards to look like doors and windows for vacant homes. The boards will be used in the ongoing fight against blight throughout the City of Youngstown. The next Idora workday will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Youngstown Playhouse. The workday will clean up a building adjacent to the Playhouse and prep it for the installation of a community mural.
