Lanterman Avenue Home Rehabilitation Projects Progress!

For the past two weeks construction crews have been working feverishly to rehabilitate three vacant homes on Lanterman Avenue. YNDC acquired the properties in late 2011 and is rehabilitating them through support from the City of Youngstown. These projects will mark continued progress on the Model Blocks strategy being implemented on Lanterman Avenue. When YNDC began the Model Blocks strategy, there were more than eight vacant homes on the block. Once the home renovations are complete, there will be no vacant properties. There will also be a renewed sense of pride and higher standards of maintenance of properties.
