Edward B. McColly, LEED GA - Program Coordinator


Ed McColly is a Program Coordinator for the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation (YNDC).  Under the general direction of the Deputy Director, Ed manages and implements the daily operation of various programming components including the Strategic Acquisition and Rehabilitation, Model Blocks, and Energy Efficient Homes programs.

Prior to joining the YNDC team, Ed worked with the Borough of Wilkinsburg, PA, evaluating abandoned properties and creating a proposal for redevelopment of target areas.  Ed also worked in Atlanta performing home energy inspections for a prominent green building advocacy non-profit agency.

Ed is on the Practical Solutions for Healthy Housing Committee of the Healthy Homes Initiative, the Deconstruction Marketing Coalition, is a member of the Northeast Ohio U.S. Green Building Council, and has been involved with productions at the Youngstown Playhouse.

Ed received a dual degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Spanish and Sociology and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, with a concentration on Urban and Regional Affairs.  Ed also has his LEED Green Associate Accreditation.  Ed resides in Youngstown.
